SEBRING - The band Broken Road will perform Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Circle Theatre in downtown Sebring. Broken Road is a newly formed local contemporary folk rock band that focuses on the music genre of the 60s and 70s, plus other contemporary folk songs. They perform great hits such as "Knocking on Heavens Door," "The Weight," "For What It's Worth" and "Pancho & Lefty." Contemporary folk songs such as "Untitled Love Song" by Romany Rye, "Wagon Wheel" by Old Crow Medicine Show and more are also part of their repertoire. Erin Sena, originally from the Carolinas but now an Avon Park resident, is one of the featured vocalists. She was a contestant on last season's "America's Got Talent." Sena also plays keyboard and acoustic guitar.
Adam Martin, of Avon Park, shares the spotlight in singing lead. He also plays lead guitar. On bass and singing vocals is David Hale, of Avon Park. Ryan Hall, who just moved to Avon Park, is the drummer. Doors open at 7 p.m. The concert is scheduled for 7:30-9 p.m. with a brief intermission. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12.50 at the door.
