Sebring woman strikes car in front of her
SAN CARLOS PARK - A Sebring woman’s car struck a vehicle in front of her, causing a chain reaction involving four cars and leaving herself and her passenger in critical condition, a Florida Highway Patrol press release said Thursday. Kara Burger, 20, was driving south on U.S. 41 in Lee County and struck the vehicle in front of her, resulting in a chain accident involving two other vehicles in front of it, the report said. Burger and her passenger, Nicholas Lindeberg, 21, of Fort Myers, were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition, the press release said. Drivers of the other vehicles were not seriously injured.
