Lake Placid Summer Swim Program LAKE PLACID - Lake Placid will be offering week-long swim classes for all ages and all experience levels. Swimmers can choose from one of six different swimming levels or an adults only class, parent and child class and there will be a class for preschool swimmers. Classes cost $25 per week. Sebring High School swimming lessons SEBRING - Sebring High School will be offering swimming lessons beginning June 10. There will be four sessions to choose from; June 10 to June 21; June 24 to July 5; July 8 to July 19; and July 22 to Aug. 2. The cost is $50 per session and there are eight different types of instruction available; six different swimming lessons, along with an adult beginner class and a adult/toddler class. Classes will be held from 9 to 9:50 a.m.; 10 to 10:50 a.m. and 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.

You may e-mail Caton at catonp@highlands.k12.fl.us. Sertoma Adult/Child Kickoff Classic SEBRING - The Sertoma Junior Golf Tour will start its 2013 season with its annual Adult/Child Kickoff Classic. The tournament will be held at Sun 'n Lake Golf Club on Sunday. The two-person scramble (one adult, one child) will start at 1:15 p.m., with registration beginning at 11:45 a.m. Entry fee will be $75 per team, which includes range balls, golf, awards, and dinner after play. Lunch to help Coz's youth bowlers LAKE PLACID - Hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and sausage sandwiches will be served at a food sale between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday in front of the Lake Placid Quality Hardware in the Lake Placid Winn-Dixie Plaza. All of the proceeds will benefit the youth bowlers scholarship program, which has more than 30 youth bowlers.
