2022 BMW Championship leaderboard: Live updates, full coverage, golf scores in Round 3 on Saturday

Adam Scott will take a one-stroke lead into the weekend in the 2022 BMW Championship. The 42-year-old was brilliant through two rounds at Wilmington Country Club and would have had a comfortable edge through 36 holes if not for a late mistake on Friday.

Instead, Scott finds himself 8 under and in a battle with some of the biggest names in the game, headlined by Scotty Scheffler in a back-to-back. Predicted to regain the top spot in the FedEx Cup rankings, world No. 1 Cameron Young is at 7 under with Jordan Spieth and Corey Connors.

Two strokes off the pace are the FedEx Cup darlings, which include defending champion Patrick Cantley, world No. 3 Rory McIlroy and Sander Schaffel. Each member of the trio has previously won a trophy at East Lake and would love nothing more than to win the BMW Championship and move on to next weekend.

This large block of followers will give Scott all he can handle as the shortened leaderboard sees half the field within six strokes of the lead.

Keep it locked right here as CBS Sports will track everything with live updates and analysis throughout Round 3 of the 2022 BMW Championship on Saturday.
