Manoa was chased after giving up six more runs in the third, which featured an opposite-field two-run homer by Gaynor Delgado.
After allowing six runs and seven hits in one-third of an inning on June 5, Manoa was cheered by Toronto fans at the end of a seventh straight losing streak. He went 1-7 with a 6.36 ERA in 13 starts after going 16-7 with a 2.24 ERA in 31 starts last season.
Manoa has scored 45 runs in 58 innings. He allowed 55 runs in 196⅔ innings in 2022. He went 9-2 with a 3.22 ERA in 20 starts as a freshman in 2021.
