The play begins at noon on Saturday Kentucky And Tennessee — John Calipari vs. Rick Barnes — must-see television forever. But it has some interesting stakes Kentucky Flurry. A road loss to the Vols would give UK its third loss in SEC play of three or more games under Cal’s watch. Also, sinking a ship in Lexington, Kentucky. Going up against Tennessee and its No. 1-rated defense was not the perfect spot for the Wildcats.

Later in the afternoon, expect more fireworks and drama from both the Big Ten and Big 12. IndianaIn a three-game skid, it should be at home against a very struggling team Wisconsin Team. Kansas State Looks to cement himself as a true contender with an important road test in the Big 12. TCU. And then, of course, there is Kansas welcome Iowa State to Allen Fieldhouse for a clash between two undefeated teams in league play.

No. 11 Kansas State no. 17 at TCU

Special game | TCU Horned Frogs vs. Kansas State Wildcats

2 pm | ESPN2, fuboTV (try it for free) — TCU has lost two straight in the Big 12 by a combined six points, while K-State is 15-1 and picking up steam as a legitimate contender. But I’m going to lean against the recent momentum and take TCU here. The Horned Frogs have been playing well despite their recent stumbles behind Mike Miles Jr., Emanuel Miller and Damien Bach. Pick: TCU -3.5 (Boone)

No. 2 Kansas at No. 14 Iowa State

4 pm | ESPN+ — Kansas looked completely dead in the water twice this season before resurrecting itself in front of the Jayhawks faithful and winning. It seems silly to pick against them at home, but they’ve allowed teams to be close at home in league play this season, and this ISU team is built to extend that trend inside and out. Exam: ISU +8 (Poon)

Special game | Clemson Tigers vs. Duke Blue Devils

5 pm | ACC Network, fuboTV (try it for free) — Jeremy Roach’s injury hampered an already struggling Duke team, and the young center lost some growth and momentum in his development. Outside of Kyle Filipowski, Duke’s young five stars are a bit hit or miss. But Tarik Whitehead is coming on strong, Filipowski is playing at a high level and Ryan Young (!) is giving a team important minutes right now. Roach isn’t expected to be out, but Dyers Proctor could get the job done. Choice: Duke +1 (Boon)

Kentucky at No. 5 Tennessee

12 noon | ESPN, fuboTV (try it for free) — Every time it feels like Kentucky has hit a new low this season, another run down the ladder is surprising. New Low. But here road loss is not eligible. Tennessee is heavily favored and expected to win by double digits behind its No. 1-ranked defense. It’s expected to be a little closer than that when Kentucky is fighting for its life, but the blocks at this point are straight drama. Prediction: UK +14 (Poon)

No. in Indiana. 18 Wisconsin

1 pm ET | CBS, CBSSports.com, CBS Sports App (Free) — Indiana is on defense as it struggles with injuries to veteran starters Xavier Johnson and Rhys Thompson. The Hoosiers have outscored three straight Big Ten opponents by 80 points and lost all three games. Wisconsin is dealing with its own injury problem as leading tackler Tyler Wall rehabs an ankle injury. But the Badgers have enough firepower elsewhere on the roster to keep this close and perhaps steal a win on the road. Pick: Wisconsin +4.5 (Cope)
