State Road 408 in Orange County reopened after 43 cars piled up

Update: The SR 408 reopened Friday night because several agencies are working to clear the scene, causing drivers to delay Friday evening travel on State Road 408 to the west on Orange County, according to the Orlando PD.A 43-car fileup. Several crashes occurred just before 5pm at Conway Toll Plaza near SR 436. Initial reports said 20 cars had been involved in the crash, but when staff arrived they found many more trapped. Only minor injuries were reported, and one person was taken to hospital, the Orlando Fire said. .Traffic was diverted beyond Semoran Boulevard.All lanes to the west were blocked at one point. Express and e-pass routes are now open. Orlando police said traffic would be affected for another hour.

Transportation beyond Semoran Boulevard was supported.

All lanes to the west were closed at one point.

Express and e-pass routes are now open.

Traffic will be affected for another hour, Orlando police said.
