Victoria Beckham His daughter wasn’t exactly ready to have an Instagram profile.
“Harper’s not on social media, so we don’t have to worry about that yet,” he explained in an interview on July 3. Vogue Australia. “But seeing how cruel people can be, yes it really does [concern me].”
Reflecting on what body shaming is like in the online world, Victoria noted that as they cross that bridge, communication is key.
“She’s at an age where her body is starting to change, but as a family we make sure we communicate a lot and she surrounds herself with good friends,” he shared. “But it’s so horrible, I can’t lie.”
So Harper doesn’t just spend her time writing Instagram captions, but even better—she’s been known to write sweet letters to her parents. In February 2021, Victoria took to her Instagram Story to share A note written by Harper before bed.
“Dear Mommy, I love you so much, you’ll always be my best friend,” Harper wrote. “I always love when we make out together, you are my heart and I love you sleep well sweet dreams love harbor.”
But Harper’s words didn’t stop there. The then 9-year-old girl also wrote a note to her father. David BeckhamOn the yellow index card.
“Dear Dad, I hope you have a good night’s sleep and great friends,” the letter reads. “You worked really hard at work today, I’m proud of you and you love yourself so much, sleep well.”
Although the world of social media is a few years away, Harper will have no problem writing a post when that day comes.
