South Carolina: Workplace shooting

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said someone opened fire on a business complex Tuesday night. According to Sheriff Chad McBride, the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Authorities said two people were injured and one was killed in the shooting. Investigators say the man suspected of firing during the incident shot himself and died. The sheriff said he believed the shooter was a former employee, but had no information on a possible motive. Business at the time of the shooting, investigators said. They told WYFF News 4 that staff had fled to a nearby business when the shooting happened. Officials said the staff was taken to a nearby church for a medical examination and interview by investigators.
